The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Gimbal Camera is a three-axis gimbal camera intended for vlogging and mobile filmmaking. It houses a 1-inch CMOS sensor that captures 4K Ultra HD video at up to 3840 × 2160 pixels. Mechanical stabilisation across three axes keeps footage steady during handheld movement. The sensor records at a maximum bitrate of 130 Mbit/s and supports frame rates up to 240 fps for slow-motion capture at 1080p. A 2-inch rotatable OLED touchscreen handles framing and control, accommodating both landscape and portrait recording orientations. Still images are captured at a 9.4-megapixel resolution in JPEG or DNG formats.

Weighing 179 g, the unit relies on a 1300 mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that provides approximately 2.76 hours of continuous operation. Charging occurs via a USB-C port and takes about 0.53 hours. Footage is stored on microSD cards up to 512 GB in capacity. Wireless connectivity relies on built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2, enabling pairing with the DJI Mimo app on Android and iOS devices. Audio recording uses a built-in microphone with wind filtering, saving files in AAC format. Additional physical inputs include a microphone port for external audio sources.
