The MSI MAG FORGE 112R is a mid-tower chassis designed for motherboards up to the ATX form factor. Its thermal design centers on four pre-installed 120 mm ARGB fans, with three positioned at the front for intake and one at the rear for exhaust. This configuration creates a direct airflow path across the main components. A 4 mm tempered glass side panel provides a view of the interior, and the integrated ARGB lighting is managed via a dedicated control button on the front I/O panel.

Component compatibility includes support for graphics cards up to 330 mm long and CPU coolers up to 160 mm in height. The case accommodates standard ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 200 mm in a bottom-mounted position. For storage, it provides a drive cage for two 3.5-inch drives and dedicated mounting points for three 2.5-inch drives. Seven expansion slots are available on the rear panel for installing various peripheral cards.
