The TP-Link Tapo C220 Pan/Tilt Indoor Wi‑Fi Security Camera is a spherical device designed for indoor use. It connects to a 2.4 GHz wireless network to transmit live video to Android or iOS devices and does not support a wired Ethernet connection. The camera records at a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 (1440p) at 30 frames per second. For low-light conditions, it uses infrared LEDs with an 850 nm wavelength, providing night vision at a range of up to 9 metres. As the unit is not weatherproof, it must be used indoors.

The camera is intended for placement on a desk or tabletop and comes with a 3-metre cable and a 9 V DC adapter. It features motion detection that can distinguish between people, pets, and vehicles; when motion is detected, the motorized base tracks the subject to keep it in frame. The camera integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings for voice control. Users manage live viewing and settings via a mobile application, and all video recordings are stored on removable media rather than an internal hard drive.
