The TP-Link Tapo C720 is an outdoor security camera that combines video monitoring with a built-in floodlight. It captures 4 MP video at a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and 15 fps. For low-light conditions, integrated IR LEDs provide night vision up to 29.9 metres. The 153-degree horizontal field of view covers a wide area from a single position. The camera connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so no wired Ethernet connection is required.

Designed for wall mounting, the unit has an IP65 rating for protection against rain and dust. A motion-activated 2800-lumen floodlight and a 93 dB siren are built into the chassis for deterrence. Onboard software identifies people, pets, and vehicles, which reduces false motion alerts. The camera also includes a noise-cancelling microphone and speaker for two-way audio. You can manage the device via the Tapo app (iOS or Android) or through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
