EKWB EK-Quantum Vector Xtreme RTX 3080/3090, GPU Backplate, Nickel

The EKWB EK-Quantum Vector Xtreme RTX 3080/3090 Backplate (Nickel) is a CNC-machined plate designed to replace the factory rear cover on select graphics cards. Made from nickel-plated aluminium, it adds structural rigidity to the printed circuit board (PCB) to prevent sagging. The backplate acts as a passive heatsink for components on the reverse side of the hardware, dissipating heat to lower the operating temperatures of sensitive electronics. Its full-length design ensures the entire PCB is covered and protected.

Designed for use with the matching EK-Quantum Vector Xtreme water block series, this backplate completes the cooling assembly. Adding it to a custom liquid-cooling loop helps maintain thermal stability by cooling hotspots on the PCB. Secure mounting ensures that rear-mounted components remain within safe operating temperatures, while the nickel finish provides a uniform look with other metallic cooling hardware.
