The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E5 manages daily floor care routines through integrated vacuuming and wet mopping capabilities. Power is supplied by a 2000 Pa suction motor, offering three adjustable suction levels to manage various debris types. Collected material is stored in a 0.4 L bagless dust compartment, which supports extended operational periods before requiring manual emptying.

Navigational guidance is provided by a sensor and gyro-based system, which directs the unit across the floor using a fixed zigzag cleaning path. Multiple internal sensors facilitate obstacle detection, prevent falls on stairs, and allow the robot to transition across thresholds up to 15 mm high. Connectivity is managed via Wi-Fi, allowing control and scheduling through the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home application, in addition to compatibility with Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant for voice operation.
