The ARCTIC Freezer 36 Black is a high-performance tower cooler engineered for effective thermal management across various modern desktop processor platforms. The heatsink utilizes four 6 mm diameter copper heat pipes, designed to rapidly transfer thermal energy from the CPU integrated heat spreader to the aluminum fin stack. Two 120 mm P12 PWM PST fans are mounted in a dual configuration, creating a balanced push-pull setup across the radiator structure. This fan arrangement maximizes the dissipation capability of the cooler under sustained high load.

The cooling fans feature Fluid Dynamic Bearings and operate across a controllable range of 200 RPM minimum to 1800 RPM maximum via the 4-pin PWM connection. Performance characteristics include a maximum air movement of 56.3 CFM and 2.2 mmH2O of static pressure when operating at full speed, generating 30 dB of audible output. Compatibility extends to Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets, as well as AMD AM5 and AM4, ensuring broad application support. The entire unit measures 159 mm in height and weighs 890 g.
