The DeepCool Assassin 4S is a high-capacity air cooling system engineered for processors with a thermal design power (TDP) rating up to 280 W. Heat dissipation is facilitated by an aluminum fin stack structure interconnected via seven 6 mm copper heat pipes. This design focuses on maximizing the contact area for thermal transfer efficiency from the processor's integrated heat spreader.

Thermal management is controlled by a single 140 mm fan utilizing a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for consistent operation and acoustics. The fan operates across a controlled speed range of 500 to 1800 RPM, supporting Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for precise thermal response. At maximum speed, the system achieves 61.25 CFM of airflow and registers a noise level of 29.3 dB.

The cooler measures 164 mm in height, 147 mm in width, and 116 mm in depth, positioning it for compatibility with many mainstream chassis configurations. Mounting hardware is included to support a wide range of current Intel (LGA1700, LGA1851) and AMD (AM4, AM5) processor sockets. The streamlined, single-fan architecture is designed to minimize potential interference with adjacent memory modules or VRM heatsinks.
