DJI RS Upper Quick-Release Plate (2024), Black

The DJI RS Upper Quick-Release Plate (2024) is an upper camera mounting plate for the DJI RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, RS 3, and RS 2 gimbals. It attaches to the base of a compatible camera and connects it to the gimbal. At 32 g, its mass can be taken into account when balancing the camera assembly. The connection is designed to hold the camera securely while the stabiliser is in operation, helping to prevent shifting, loosening, and unwanted camera movement during use.

The quick-release design allows the camera to be mounted and removed when changing or rebalancing a gimbal setup, so the plate can stay on the camera base. Photographers and videographers can use the mounting point for stable, repeatable camera positioning. During operation, the plate keeps the camera connected to the gimbal to limit movement of the camera body. Its mechanical function is focused on securing the camera within the compatible stabiliser assembly.
