The Teltonika TRB500 Industrial 5G Gateway connects mobile data signals to a high-speed wired network. It uses 5G Sub-6 GHz standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) architectures to reach data transfer rates of up to 3.3 Gbit/s. Designed for wired infrastructure, this gateway does not include built-in Wi-Fi. A single Gigabit Ethernet LAN port handles local data distribution and wired backhaul. If primary coverage is lost, the unit automatically switches to 4G LTE Cat 20 or 3G networks to maintain a connection. This design is suited for integrating remote hardware or legacy machinery into cellular networks.
The aluminum housing has a stainless steel finish, suitable for demanding environments. Its compact, DIN-rail mountable chassis fits inside standard control cabinets. Four external 4x4 MIMO antennas connect via SMA terminals, allowing users to position the antennas for optimal signal reception. A Mini SIM slot accepts the mobile provider card, while a 4-pin DC connector supports a 9–50 VDC input range. Routing protocols such as BGP and OSPFv2 run on the internal 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A7 processor. Network security is managed through an integrated firewall, Denial-of-Service (DoS) protection, and MAC address filtering.
