The STAEDTLER Double-Hole Tub Sharpener is a tub-style pencil sharpener for standard and thick pencils. Its two openings let one unit handle regular graphite pencils alongside broader drawing and colouring pencils. The larger opening accepts pencil barrels up to 10.2 mm in diameter, which is the key compatibility limit when checking wider pencils. Each opening produces a point suited to writing, sketching or colouring with the corresponding pencil format, so there is no need to carry separate sharpeners for the two supported sizes.

The cutting heads are made from steel, and the body combines metal and plastic. The integrated tub collects shavings directly beneath the cutting area as each pencil is sharpened. Keeping the waste inside the sharpener means less clearing up over a bin or separate container.
