The QNAP QSW-M7308R-4X is a Layer 3 Lite managed switch featuring four 100GbE QSFP28 ports and eight 25GbE SFP28 ports for enterprise network aggregation. Designed exclusively for fiber, the unit contains no RJ-45 ports, focusing instead on backbone connectivity. It offers a 1200 Gbit/s total switching capacity and is intended for use in virtualization clusters and large storage arrays. As a non-PoE device, its power consumption is dedicated entirely to routing and switching functions.

The 1U rack-mountable unit features a compact, half-width black chassis to save cabinet space. Configuration is managed through a web interface or the dedicated RJ-45 console port. Firmware includes IEEE 802.1Q VLAN support, access control lists, and static routing. Quality of Service parameters prioritize time-sensitive traffic, while IGMP snooping manages multicast streams.
