DJI SDR Transmission Transmitter

The DJI SDR Transmission Transmitter is a wireless video transmitter for professional camera and video systems with compatible HDMI or SDI outputs. It works with the DJI SDR Transmission System and receiver, DJI Ronin equipment, and compatible ARRI or RED cameras. The unit sends a live camera feed for remote monitoring, on-set collaboration, and live production. Its SDR link has a maximum operating distance of 3,000 m, depending on local regulations, environment, and operating conditions. Video resolution reaches 1920 × 1080. The wireless connection allows camera and monitoring positions to be separated without a direct video cable.

The transmitter weighs 145 g, which matters when it is mounted on a camera or support rig. Power can be supplied through USB-C or an NP-F battery, allowing use with either wired power or a compatible battery. It operates in both SDR and Wi-Fi modes to suit different transmission and monitoring arrangements. Compatible receivers or devices can be used to view the transmitted feed. Metadata transmission is also supported in compatible cinema-camera workflows.
