The BLACK+DECKER 18V Cordless Drill/Driver is battery-powered and intended for household repairs, furniture assembly, DIY projects and routine maintenance. It combines hole drilling in common materials with controlled screwdriving in a single handheld drill. With no mains cable required, the drill can be used where access to a power socket is limited. Maximum torque is rated at 37 N⋅m for drilling and fastening tasks. Maximum drilling diameter is 25 mm in wood and 10 mm in steel.

The pistol-grip layout provides a conventional hand position for both drilling and screwdriving. Soft-grip surfaces and an ergonomic design support controlled handling during repeated use. The supplied battery uses lithium-ion chemistry and has a capacity of 1.5 Ah. One removable battery is included, which can be detached from the drill when required. A compatible battery charger is also supplied with this version.
