The CORSAIR 3500X is a mid-tower chassis constructed from steel and tempered glass, presented in a white finish. It supports motherboards up to the EATX form factor and utilizes a layout that provides a clear view of the main components. This design directs airflow through side, top, and bottom vents, which are protected by integrated dust filters. The front I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and a combination audio jack for peripheral connectivity.

For thermal management, the case comes with three pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans at the top and one 120mm fan at the rear. It offers multiple cooling configurations, with support for up to a 360mm radiator on the top or side mounts, and a 120mm radiator at the rear. The interior allows for CPU coolers up to 170mm in height and standard ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 180mm. Storage options consist of a drive cage with two 3.5-inch bays and two dedicated 2.5-inch mounts.
