The SodaStream Terra Sparkling Water Maker is a countertop appliance designed to carbonate tap water at home. It uses a pressurised CO₂ cylinder to inject gas into still water, producing up to 60 L of sparkling water per cartridge. A reusable plastic bottle attaches to the unit for carbonation. The bottle locks into the base to keep it aligned during the cycle. The appliance is intended for straightforward daily use, with no complex setup. A simple control on the top of the unit releases the gas into the water.

The housing has a black finish made with 50% recycled plastic. A Quick Connect mechanism lets the CO₂ cylinder snap into place without manual threading. This maker is compatible only with SodaStream Quick Connect CO₂ cylinders and does not accept screw-in alternatives. Replacing an empty cartridge is a tool-free process that takes a few seconds. The product ships in a standard box measuring 195 × 282 × 436 mm. The base has a stable footprint suitable for most standard kitchen countertops.
