The TP-Link Omada SG2218P is a managed 18-port Gigabit PoE+ switch (16 RJ45 PoE+ ports, 2 SFP slots) that operates at Layer 2 and Layer 2+, providing centralized power distribution and switching for business networks. It features 16 Gigabit RJ45 ports and two dedicated SFP slots for fibre uplinks, with a switching capacity of 26.78 Gbit/s. The switch handles a forwarding rate of 26.78 Mpps. Because the copper ports support PoE, the switch is commonly used to power and connect edge devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP hardware.

The black metal chassis has a 1U form factor for standard rack mounting in server rooms or network closets. Administrators can configure the switch via a web interface, a command-line interface (CLI), or through supported cloud management platforms.
