The Fractal Design Momentum 12 RGB is a 120 mm case fan engineered for system cooling with integrated lighting. Its primary function is to move air through a PC chassis as either an intake or exhaust. The fan blades are constructed from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), a material selected for its rigidity, which helps maintain blade shape at high speeds for consistent airflow. It is built upon a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) to ensure smooth rotation and a long operational lifespan. To minimize operational noise, the mounting points feature integrated rubber dampeners that reduce the transfer of vibrations to the computer case.

This model supports Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) for precise speed control, allowing software to adjust its rotational speed from 350 to 2200 RPM. At its maximum setting, the fan generates up to 62.44 CFM of airflow and 2.42 mmH2O of static pressure, with a corresponding noise level of 28.03 dB. The lighting is an addressable RGB (ARGB Gen 2) system, which allows for individual LED control and synchronization with other compatible components for coordinated lighting effects. A splitter cable is included to facilitate a connection to a standard motherboard header.
