As an FPV camera and video-transmission module for custom drones, the DJI O4 Air Unit combines the onboard view and digital link in one component. It sends live FPV video to compatible DJI goggles and supports flight control through matched DJI FPV remote controllers. Its wide-angle lens provides a rated 155° field of view, giving pilots a broad view of the flight path. A 1/1.3-inch optical sensor handles image capture. This format is intended for builders who need an integrated DJI video and control system rather than a standalone recording camera.

Compatibility depends on specified goggles-and-controller combinations, so the required controller generation changes with the headset. DJI Goggles 3 pair with DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 for this unit. DJI Goggles N3 also use DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Goggles Integra instead operate with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2. The package contains one camera module, making this a single-unit component for an FPV build or replacement.
