The DJI Flip with DJI RC 2 Camera Drone is a foldable consumer aircraft designed for aerial photography and videography. It features a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor that captures 48 MP still images and records 4K video at up to 60 fps with a 150 Mbit/s bitrate. The drone provides a maximum flight time of 31 minutes and a maximum hovering time of 28 minutes. It supports video transmission over a distance of up to 14,000 metres when paired with the included DJI RC 2 remote controller.

Weighing 249 grams, the quadcopter folds down to dimensions of 136 × 62 × 165 mm for easier transport. A 3-axis motorised gimbal stabilises the camera, offering a tilt range of −130° to +63° and a pan range of −30° to +30°. Safety features include GPS satellite positioning, automatic take-off and landing, and a return-to-home function. Connectivity relies on 2.4, 5.1, and 5.8 GHz frequency bands, along with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. The ready-to-fly package contains the remote controller, a 3,110 mAh lithium-ion battery, a charger, and spare propellers. The 2 GB internal storage can be expanded using microSDXC cards up to 512 GB.
