The Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Fiber (UCG-FIBER) is a wired router and centralized network controller for enterprise environments. It relies exclusively on wired connections and supports various WAN interfaces, including Ethernet, SFP, and SFP+. Local network ports support speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps. The unit is powered via a 54 V DC input jack and features integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) to supply power to connected hardware. As it lacks onboard Wi-Fi, the device is optimized specifically for routing and switching performance.

The gateway is housed in a compact, lightweight polycarbonate desktop enclosure. Four RJ-45 LAN ports are located on the rear panel for connecting local switches or endpoints. Administrators can configure the device via a local web interface or remote cloud management tools. A built-in firewall and VLAN tagging enable traffic segmentation and network security, while QoS features and an integrated DHCP server provide control over bandwidth allocation and IP addressing. Front-facing status LEDs and a built-in display allow for quick on-site diagnostics. Integrated Bluetooth is also included for initial setup.
