The Ubiquiti UniFi Gateway Fiber (UXG-Fiber) manages routing and traffic control for business networks. Without built-in Wi-Fi, the unit focuses on high-throughput wired connectivity. Five RJ45 Ethernet LAN ports support data rates of 1,000, 2,500, and 10,000 Mbit/s. Upstream connections use standard RJ45 or SFP interfaces for direct fiber integration. Power is supplied via a 54 V DC input or an active Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection. The hardware has a maximum power draw of 25 W.

The compact polycarbonate chassis allows for easy placement in confined spaces. Configuration and monitoring are handled through a web-based interface. Built-in firewall protections and native support for IPSec and TLS secure the network. Quality of Service (QoS) controls prioritize traffic to maintain stable data paths, and the gateway uses the OSPF protocol for efficient routing. Front-facing LEDs indicate activity, LAN connections, link states, and overall system health.
