Mercusys MS108GS - 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch, Black

The Mercusys MS108GS 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch is an unmanaged, plug-and-play device that increases wired connectivity without the need for manual configuration. It has eight RJ45 Ethernet ports, each supporting data transfer rates up to 1 Gbit/s for high-bandwidth traffic. As an unmanaged switch, it automatically negotiates link speeds with connected hardware. The device uses an 8,000-entry MAC address table to track active network nodes, ensuring stable data transfer across multiple connections simultaneously.

The black metal casing weighs 440 g and measures 158 × 99.1 × 25.2 mm. It uses passive cooling, so the device remains silent during use. Designed primarily for desktops, it can also be wall-mounted to help manage cabling. Front-facing LEDs show link status and port activity. The switch is powered via a standard DC jack and consumes a maximum of 4.22 W under full load.
