The QNAP TS-432X-4G 4-bay tower NAS is a network-attached storage device for data consolidation in home and small office environments. It features four hot-swappable drive bays that accommodate 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and solid-state drives. A quad-core Annapurna Labs Alpine AL-524 processor (2.0 GHz) handles file sharing and backups. The system comes with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, which can be upgraded to 16 GB via a single SO-DIMM slot. Networking options include two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports and a 10GbE SFP+ fiber interface for bandwidth-intensive tasks. This configuration supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50 to provide either data redundancy or improved storage performance.

The black tower chassis uses a single 120 mm fan to maintain stable operating temperatures. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are available for external storage or manual backups.
