The TP-Link TL-POE10R Gigabit PoE splitter divides an incoming Power over Ethernet signal into separate data and DC power streams. This wired adapter enables the use of non-PoE hardware within modern network infrastructures, providing direct power for devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and IP phones. It maintains reliable wired data transmission to the connected device without restricting network traffic. The unit relies on physical cabling and does not include wireless connectivity.

The device supports user-selectable output voltages of 5 V, 9 V, or 12 V to accommodate various equipment requirements. Power is delivered to connected hardware via a standard 5.5 mm round barrel connector. Compliance with the IEEE 802.3af standard ensures compatibility with existing PoE switches and injectors. Its plug-and-play design allows for immediate use without software configuration, and the compact housing—measuring 80.8 mm by 54 mm by 24 mm—is suitable for installation in confined spaces.
