The StarTech ST1000SPEXD4T is a dual-port Gigabit PCI Express Ethernet adapter featuring two RJ45 ports and dual Realtek RTL8111H chipsets. It installs into a motherboard PCIe slot to provide wired network connectivity. The card supports data transfer rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s and serves as a replacement for failing onboard Ethernet ports. It is a strictly wired adapter and does not include wireless functionality.
The two RJ45 ports allow for simultaneous connection to separate networks or the use of link aggregation. Data flow for both interfaces is managed by the Realtek RTL8111H chipsets.
