The StarTech.com TAA-compliant 1-port Gigabit PCIe Ethernet network adapter card (ST1000SPEX2T) connects desktop PCs and servers to a wired network. The internal PCI Express card provides a single RJ-45 port for copper connectivity. The adapter is wired-only and does not include Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth. It supports data transfer speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s for network access and file sharing. Auto-negotiation ensures compatibility with 10 and 100 Mbit/s network hardware.
Installation is plug-and-play, requiring no manual driver configuration on most modern systems. A Realtek RTL8111H chipset manages data routing and throughput.
