The StarTech PR12GI-NETWORK-CARD is a 1-port 2.5Gbps PCIe Ethernet card (Intel I225-V) for PCs and servers. It installs into a PCI Express x1 slot and supports data transfer rates of up to 2500 Mbit/s via an RJ45 port. NBASE-T technology enables these speeds over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling at distances of up to 100 metres. This card does not support Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The low-profile design fits into compact desktop cases and server chassis. A dedicated LED indicates network link status and activity. Full-duplex operation allows for simultaneous data transmission and reception. Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019 and 2022, and Linux distributions. The housing protects the internal circuitry during installation.
