The TP-Link Deco M4 is a dual-band Wi-Fi mesh system covering areas up to 260 m². Using the Wi-Fi 5 standard, this two-unit set offers a combined wireless data rate of 1167 Mbit/s, with up to 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The system supports up to 100 simultaneous connections. MU-MIMO and beamforming focus signals toward connected devices to improve stability, while mesh technology allows devices to switch between access points seamlessly as you move through the premises.

Each unit has two Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) that function as WAN or LAN. Security features include WPA2-PSK encryption, a built-in firewall, and IP address filtering. Administrative options include guest network access and parental controls with scheduling and web filtering. Quality of Service (QoS) enables traffic prioritisation, and the system supports web-based management for DHCP, static IP routing, and port forwarding. Each unit includes a physical reset button.
