The Kärcher K 5 Basic High Pressure Washer is an upright domestic unit designed for cleaning vehicles, garden paths, and exterior hard surfaces. It delivers a maximum pressure of 145 bar and a maximum flow rate of 500 l/h, enough to cover approximately 40 m² per hour. The pump is powered by a water-cooled 2100 W motor connected to a standard mains supply.

The Vario Power spray lance allows manual pressure adjustment between 20 and 145 bar to suit different surfaces. Pressure settings are changed by turning the lance, providing a quick switch between gentle rinsing and stubborn dirt removal.

The unit comes with an 8 m high-pressure hose and a 5 m power cable for manoeuvrability and reach. Castor wheels and an integrated carrying handle make it easy to move across uneven garden terrain or driveways. An integrated water filter at the pump inlet prevents debris from entering and damaging the pump. An auto power-off system stops the motor immediately when the trigger gun is released. On-board storage slots keep accessories, including the trigger gun and nozzles, tidy. A detergent injector and reservoir allow cleaning agents to be applied during use.
