The Makita DMP181Z 18V LXT Cordless Air Pump is a battery-powered inflator designed for bicycle and vehicle tyres, as well as sports equipment. It runs on the Makita 18V LXT battery platform, allowing for cordless operation without a mains connection. The pump provides a maximum operating pressure of 11.1 bar, making it suitable for high-pressure road bike tyres, and delivers a constant airflow of 22 litres per minute. The unit is designed for both indoor and workshop environments and features both inflation and deflation modes. This version is supplied as a bare tool; batteries are not included.

The inflator features a backlit digital display for clear pressure readings in low-light conditions. An integrated pressure gauge allows for precise monitoring, while the auto-stop function automatically cuts power once the preset pressure is reached.
