The TP-Link EAP772-Outdoor is a tri-band access point using the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard, designed for high-density environments. It operates across three radio bands to provide a maximum combined wireless throughput of 9300 Mbit/s. Band-specific transfer rates reach 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band, 2882 Mbit/s on 5 GHz, and 5765 Mbit/s on 6 GHz. MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies manage data streams for multiple clients, and the hardware supports up to 380 simultaneous connections.

The EAP772-Outdoor features an IP68-rated weather-resistant enclosure for wall or ceiling mounting. It connects via a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, which handles both data and PoE+ power. Network administrators can manage the device through a web-based interface. Security features include WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 support for both personal and enterprise use. Integrated guest access and Quality of Service (QoS) prioritisation provide further traffic control. The internal antennas are housed within the chassis to maintain signal integrity.
