The Bosch GCD 12 JL Professional Metal Cut-Off Saw is designed for cutting steel pipes, profiles and other metal sections in workshops and fabrication environments. It delivers a 100 mm cut depth at 90° and 85 mm at 45°, handling straight and angled cuts in a single setup. Power comes from a 2000 W AC mains motor. Unlike general-purpose circular saws aimed at wood, the saw is built specifically for steel and metal substrates, making it better suited to fabrication shops than to mixed-trade job sites.

The included Expert for Steel blade is configured to reduce heat tinting and burr formation compared with abrasive cutting, suiting it well to repeatable metalworking tasks.
