Bosch POF 1200 AE Corded Plunge Router 1200 W

The Bosch POF 1200 AE is a corded electric plunge router with a 1,200 W input, designed for routing and milling wood. Its motor supports groove cutting, edge profiling, shaping and decorative moulding. The variable speed range runs from 11,000 to 28,000 RPM, allowing the rate to be matched to the material and cutter. Speed preselection provides a repeatable setup when moving between routing tasks, and Bosch Constant Electronic maintains a consistent operating speed under load. A routing stroke of up to 55 mm allows controlled plunge cuts at different depths.

The integrated dust-extraction port connects to a vacuum via the supplied adapter to collect chips around the cutting area. A transparent chip guard keeps the workpiece visible while shielding it from debris. At 3.4 kg, the unit has enough mass to stay settled during guided passes. Soft-grip handles provide a secure two-handed hold and help maintain control during longer jobs. The plunge base is suited to starting cuts within the surface rather than only from an edge, and compatibility with Bosch guide rails and template guides supports straight or repeat-pattern routing.
