The Bosch EasyDrill 18V-40 cordless drill driver is an 18 V rechargeable-battery model for routine drilling and screwdriving around the home, workshop and garden. It delivers up to 40 N·m of torque for general fastening and boring tasks. Maximum drilling diameter is 30 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel. The drill is suited to furniture assembly, installation work and home maintenance. Its stated material range focuses on wood, metal and similar materials, not concrete.

At 1.3 kg, the pistol-grip drill remains relatively light for repeated handling. A keyless 13 mm chuck lets bits be changed by hand without a chuck key. The two-speed gearbox and variable-speed trigger provide control for driving and drilling. An integrated LED illuminates the immediate work area in dim locations. The removable lithium-ion battery system is compatible with the Bosch Power for All 18V platform.
