The BOSCH IXO 7 Cordless Screwdriver with Bit Set is a rechargeable 3.6 V electric screwdriver for routine fastening and light drilling around the home. Its main uses include assembling flat-pack furniture and installing fittings. It can also tighten or loosen screws during everyday DIY maintenance. Maximum torque is rated at 5.5 N·m, defining the upper end of its screwdriving output. Battery operation removes the need for a mains cable while the screwdriver is in use.

The screwdriver weighs 320 g and uses a pistol-style handle, placing the grip at an angle to the main body. Its quick-release chuck allows screwdriver bits to be exchanged without a separate chuck key. A built-in light directs illumination towards the work area when ambient lighting is limited.
