The GARDENA Drill Pump is a compact attachment for transferring and draining small amounts of water. It has no internal motor; instead, it runs off a standard electric drill, which provides the rotational force needed to move the fluid. At the right speed, the pump will empty standing water from domestic basins, rain barrels, or shallow pools. It delivers a maximum flow rate of 2,400 l/h for quick drainage, and a maximum delivery head of 3 m for pushing water up and away from the source.

The casing, in black and grey, houses the internal pumping components in a small footprint. The whole unit weighs just 220 g, keeping the load on the attached drill to a minimum. At 179 mm wide and 240 mm deep, it fits easily into tight spaces around the home or garden, and its 65 mm height makes it suitable for use near shallow water sources. Because it relies entirely on the external drive, the pump body needs no direct electrical wiring or internal power supply.
