The Bosch UniversalSaw 18V-100 Solo cordless jigsaw is a battery-powered cutting tool for home improvement and furniture work. It cuts wood, aluminium, and steel, with a maximum cut depth of 100 mm in timber. The saw handles aluminium up to 18 mm thick and steel up to 8 mm. Powered by an 18 V battery, it runs on the Bosch POWER FOR ALL 18 V system. A variable-speed trigger adjusts the stroke rate up to 2600 spm to suit the material being cut. The battery and charger are not included; users must supply their own compatible 18 V battery.

Weighing 2000 g, the jigsaw has a steel base plate and a top handle for control during use. The base tilts for bevel cuts from -45° to 45°. An integrated dust blower keeps the cut line clear of debris, and a built-in light illuminates the work area. Vibration levels measure 10 m/s² when cutting wood and 9 m/s² on steel. The soft-start function reduces initial kickback for better control when starting a cut.
