The Bosch GLM 50-27 CG Professional Laser Distance Meter is a digital laser measure designed for distance measurement, material estimation, and room and wall area calculation on professional job sites. It measures distances from 0.05 m up to 50 m with an accuracy of ±1.5 mm. Each reading completes in approximately 0.5 seconds, supporting rapid repeated measurements. A green laser beam provides better visibility than a red beam under bright indoor lighting. This range and precision make the meter suitable for everything from tight-space checks to documenting dimensions across larger interior spaces.

The IP65-rated housing protects the meter against dust and water jets, while the shock-absorbing rubber casing helps it survive drops onto hard surfaces. Power comes from two AA batteries. Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity transfers measurement data to a smartphone or tablet via the Bosch MeasureOn app. Onboard memory stores up to 30 individual readings for later recall. A backlit digital display improves readability in dim conditions, and the 1/4-inch tripod thread enables stable mounting when steady positioning is needed. At 200 g, the meter is light enough for extended one-handed use.
