Bosch GSC 18V-16 E Professional Cordless Sheet Metal Shears, Solo

The Bosch GSC 18V-16 E Professional Cordless Sheet Metal Shears are designed for cutting sheet metal and other metal components without a mains connection. A maximum stroke rate of 3,200 spm supports repeated cutting during fabrication and installation work. Aluminium sheet can be cut at thicknesses up to 2.2 mm. The rated cutting capacity for steel is up to 0.7 mm. An inside-edge cutting radius of 20 mm allows the shears to follow relatively tight internal curves. It is also suitable for maintenance and ventilation work.

Weighing 1,600 g, the shears are suited to mobile tasks where access and handling matter. The brushless motor needs less maintenance than a brushed one. Its output is comparable to that of a 700 W corded tool. Restart protection prevents an unexpected start after the power supply is interrupted. This bare-tool configuration allows existing users of compatible 18 V batteries to add the shears without buying duplicate batteries or chargers.
