HPE Networking Instant On - Secure Gateway

The HPE Networking Instant On Secure Gateway connects small business networks to the internet via a dedicated Ethernet WAN port. It features four RJ-45 ports for local device connectivity. As a security-focused router, it manages data traffic between your local infrastructure and the internet. Support for PPPoE ensures compatibility with standard ISP requirements, while built-in DHCP server and client functions automate IP address management and simplify initial setup.

An internal firewall combined with an intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS) monitors and protects network traffic. You can manage the gateway via a web interface or the cloud, with support for 802.1Q VLANs for traffic segmentation. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power compatible devices over network cabling. Bandwidth control features help prioritise traffic, while regular firmware updates keep the system secure. Remote monitoring and configuration are centralised through the Instant On cloud platform.
