The NZXT Kraken Plus 240 is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler designed for efficient thermal management. Its cooling system is built around a 240mm aluminum radiator and two 120mm fans, which operate at speeds between 500 and 2400 RPM. A variable-speed pump adjusts from 1200 to 2800 RPM to maintain consistent coolant flow. The pump head integrates a 1.54-inch square TFT display that can show real-time system metrics or custom graphics, providing both performance data and aesthetic customization. This configuration is engineered to manage CPU temperatures under demanding workloads.
This cooler provides broad compatibility for contemporary Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA 1700 and AM5. The fans use Fluid Dynamic Bearings for longevity and are PWM-controlled to balance airflow with acoustic output. Each fan is equipped with RGB lighting that is configured and synchronized through the NZXT CAM software. The unit features a copper base plate for thermal transfer and is connected by 400mm nylon-braided rubber tubes, offering flexibility for installation within various chassis layouts. A single breakout cable is used for a simplified wiring process.
