The Teltonika RUTM52 Dual 5G industrial router provides a gateway between cellular networks and local wired or wireless connections. It features a 5G NR modem compatible with Sub-6 GHz, standalone (SA), and non-standalone (NSA) architectures. If 5G coverage is unavailable, the router automatically switches to an LTE Cat 20 fallback to maintain connectivity. Local wireless coverage is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi 5 across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, with a maximum transfer rate of 867 Mbit/s. This bandwidth supports continuous data streams for monitoring equipment or general internet traffic, while the integrated access point manages multiple simultaneous clients.

An aluminium housing protects the internal components from the physical stresses common in industrial environments. Eleven external antennas connect via SMA and RP-SMA ports to improve cellular and local signal reception. Five Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports—operating at 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit/s—provide wired links for hardware such as network switches or industrial computers. Two MiniSIM slots enable carrier redundancy, helping prevent network dropouts during operation. Power is supplied via a direct DC connection or Power over Ethernet (PoE) to simplify remote installation.
