Bosch GBH 240 Professional Corded Rotary Hammer with SDS plus

The Bosch Professional corded rotary hammer with SDS-plus is a 790 W mains-powered drill for construction, renovation and installation work. It handles rotary drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling with compatible accessories. Maximum drilling diameters are 30 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 26 mm in concrete. This material range covers conventional drilling and masonry hole-making with the same drill. Screwdriving is supported when the appropriate accessory is fitted. As a mains-powered tool, it does not depend on battery charge.

At 2.8 kg without accessories, the rotary hammer's weight is worth considering for prolonged or overhead work. Its SDS-plus chuck supports quick changes between compatible drill bits and chisels. Adjustable speed allows the output to be matched to different materials and tasks. Forward and reverse operation gives additional control during drilling and screwdriving. An auxiliary handle and depth gauge are included for two-handed handling and repeatable hole depth. A carrying case is supplied, but drill bits and screwdriver bits are not included.
