DJI Power Solar Panel MC4 Extension Cable

The DJI Power Solar Panel MC4 Extension Cable is a three-metre solar-panel extension lead for DJI Power portable power stations. It is specified for use with the DJI Power 1000 V2, DJI Power 1000, and DJI Power 1000 Mini. Its main purpose is to increase the distance between a compatible solar panel and the power station when recharging from solar power. The 3000 mm length gives more freedom to position the panel where sunlight is available while keeping the power station elsewhere. This is useful when the standard panel lead cannot comfortably span the intended setup.

The cable is designed for off-grid, outdoor, RV, and home solar-charging setups. In practice, the extra reach prevents panel placement from being dictated solely by the power station’s location. It also allows the station to stay in a chosen operating area while the panel is moved to a more suitable charging position. Different panel placements can therefore be tried without having to relocate the power station each time. The accessory suits installations where panel location, cable routing, and power-station placement need to be considered separately.
