Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Reader - Access Control Reader, Black

The Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Reader (UA-G3-B) is an access control reader for secure premises. It connects to a UniFi Access system to authenticate users and manage door permissions. Network connectivity is provided by a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port. The device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the IEEE 802.3af standard; with a maximum power draw of 5 W, it requires only this single cable for both data and power.

The reader is designed for surface mounting on walls or door frames. It is rated for outdoor use and can withstand environmental exposure without an additional enclosure. Users present their credentials by touching the reader. To maintain a compact profile, the unit does not include a display or video hardware. All data is transmitted over the wired connection, as the device does not support Wi-Fi. This design is suited for commercial exteriors, main entrances, and secure internal corridors.
