The Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Reader Pro (UA-G3-PRO-W) is a wired access reader for controlling entry points in commercial environments. It features an integrated camera and a two-way intercom with a built-in microphone and speakers for visitor communication. The device connects via a single Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ45) supporting 1000 Mbit/s. Powered exclusively via Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a maximum draw of 6 W, it removes the need for separate power supplies.
The reader mounts on standard walls or gang boxes and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The enclosure is constructed from polycarbonate, glass, and aluminium alloy for durability. Administrators can manage the device via local web interfaces or centralised cloud platforms. A built-in display allows visitors to interact with the unit. The device also includes a motion sensor and supports remote live viewing. A five-colour LED array (red, green, blue, white, and amber) indicates the operating status.
