The Ubiquiti UniFi G6 Dome is a wired IP camera designed for continuous monitoring. It captures footage at a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels using an 8 MP sensor. The device connects via a 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet RJ45 port and supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to draw power through the data cable. This single-cable installation simplifies mounting in elevated or remote locations. An integrated day/night mode ensures visibility under varying light levels.

Housed in aluminum alloy and polycarbonate, the camera has an IP66 weatherproofing rating. The materials are tamper-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. An included kit supports ceiling or wall mounting. On-board processing classifies human and vehicle movement, filtering out irrelevant activity. A built-in microphone records ambient audio. Software controls allow for adjustment of brightness, contrast, HDR, and sharpness. External LEDs indicate the device's operating status.
