The Synology DiskStation DS725+ is a 2-bay NAS for centralized data management in small offices. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen R1600 dual-core processor with a 2.6 GHz base clock and 3.1 GHz boost frequency. Two hot-swappable bays accommodate 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA hard drives and solid-state drives. The unit includes two M.2 2280 NVMe slots for SSD caching, allowing for improved system responsiveness without using the primary drive bays. It connects via two 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports that support link aggregation. The system comes with 4GB of DDR4 ECC memory, which can be expanded to 32GB.
