Reolink NVS8-8MB4 - Security camera system

The Reolink NVS8-8MB4 4K Ultra HD PoE Security Camera System (4 cameras, 8-channel NVR, 2TB HDD) provides continuous recording for homes and businesses. This kit includes an eight-channel Network Video Recorder and four bullet-style cameras for indoor or outdoor use. Each unit captures 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), providing enough detail to identify subjects. Connectivity is provided entirely via Power over Ethernet (PoE), using a single network cable for both power and data. This wired connection provides a stable video feed free from wireless interference. When light levels drop, the cameras automatically switch to night vision, with a range of up to 30 metres.

The cameras have an IP67 weatherproof rating, protecting them against rain and dust. Built-in microphones and speakers allow for audio capture and output. To reduce unnecessary notifications, the system uses motion detection that distinguishes between people, vehicles, and animals. The NVR stores footage locally on a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. Users can access live feeds, manage settings, and review clips via the app on iOS, Android, or Windows. The system supports H.264 and H.265 compression to manage storage space effectively.
